Restaurants in Cork
We spent about two weeks in this city and ate at quite a few restaurants in Cork. These are some which we would highly recommend.
Restaurants & Cafes in Cork: Lunch
The Parlour Cafe: Cute little spot for brunch. Everything is very fresh and tasty.
Farmgate Cafe: It is on top the English market. A fun little lunch to come have on a day that you are exploring the market
MYO Cafe: Cute little tea room with delicous pastries, yummy tea in a cozy atmosphere.
Restaurants in Cork: Dinner
Elbow Lane Brew & Smokehouse: One of the best steaks we’ve had in our lives. This is saying a lot! They do not take reservations and only have very few tables so you have to get here very early and put your name down! (ideally 5.30PM) and go have a drink at “Meades 126” (see Cork drinks section)
Paradisio: A Vegetarian restaurant which is delicious. Every dish was better than the last!
The Spit Jack: Mostly known for their roasted porchetta and roast chicken! Delicious for lunch or dinner.
West Cork Burger Company: Casual burger place which is perfect for late night food in Cork.
Electric: Great spot for dinner if you are feeling for seafood! It is fresh and delicious. Also before dinner have a drink downstairs and order one of their many gin and tonics! (great time to try bertha’s revenge gin!)
Iberian Way: If you are feeling for tapas and wine go here. Fun, lively spot with yummy food!
