Drinking in Cork
What to drink in Ireland:
Guinness (mainly Dublin)
Murphys (Galway & Cork)
Gin Tonics - Try “Bertha’s Revenge” gin from Cork. It is a small distillery and the best gin we’ve ever tasted!
Do NOT order “Irish Car Bombs”. It is not a thing here and is probably going to be seen as offensive.
Our recommendations for drinking in cork
The Mutton Lane Pub: Great pub where everyone heads to after work.
Pigalle: Cozy, romantic cocktail bar
Edison: Late night spot with dj and cocktails for an after dinner espresso martini
Meades Bar 126: The cutest wine bar in the world! There is no sign so you will miss it if you are not looking for it. It is cozy, intimate and their wines are delicious!
Tom Barry’s: Great pub with a little backyard in the back when it is sunny. The inside however is super cozy! They also serve delicious fire roasted pizzas if you are feeling snackish.
The Courtyard: If it is a nice day out and you want to catch some rays, come here for a beer in the courtyard. Nothing fancy and truly only come if it is sunny! We didn’t try the food but our guess not worth it!
Rearden's Irish Pub: Come here for an after dinner Irish coffee.
