Food in San Francisco is absolutely delicious! You should be looking at each of these places to see if they take reservations and if they do make them! We lived in SF for two years and these are our top pics for where to eat in San Francisco!
Where to Eat in San Francisco: Brunch & Lunch
Tartine Manufactory : Beautiful setting, delicious coffee, pastries & breakfast sandwiches. They have a few in the city now. This was their original
Kitchen Story: Very authentic food, you can’t go wrong. Their bloodies are no joke either!
Harbourview Restaurant : This is great for a weekend dim sum brunch. It’s very trendy and the food is fabulous! We love their duck, the green beans and their wontons in Chili oil!
Arsicault bakery: They only make Croissants and therefore, they are to die for! The ham and cheese & the almond are our favorites!
Sip Tea Room : Go in the afternoon for a lovely afternooon drinking tea and little food!
Gamine: Low key french bistro in a great part of town! Grab a glass of rose and enjoy life.
Le Garage: This is based in Sausalito. Great french restaurant.
Joinery: Also based in Sausalito. Casual order your food at the bar and grab a number! Love their sandwiches.
Drakes Dealership: Oakland. Always a good vibe (day or night) and if it is nice out, you get to enjoy their amazing patio!
Park Chalet : Go after a hike of lands end . Only go on a nice day and grab an outside table. The Calamari and deviled eggs are our favourite things to share!
Souvla : Simple Greek food (wraps and salads) and you just can’t go wrong! You MUST have their Greek yogurt frozen desert with baklava to end the meal. They have a few locations.
Lale: One of our favourite places in the city for a typical brunch. we’ve never been disappointed. Start with some Mezze’s and then grab brunch!
Where to Eat in San Francisco: Dinner
Bar Crudo : Fun seafood bar in the city with a great happy hour! Grab some white wine and seafood type of night.
lolo: Our FAVOURITE place to take guests. You must get the tropical fish tacos and their margaritas. Try to get a reservation around 8.30 so you enjoy the vibe!
Bar Vale: Probably our favourite tapas bar in the city! Grab a reservation around 8.30 and go have drinks and dinner!
BarnZu: This Korean place makes us drool all the time! The food is refined and so tasty!
L’ardoise: Typical french restaurant. It’s authentic and oh so cute!
Izakaya Roku: Think Japanese tapas (not sushi). It’s a fun place and the food is great!
Pardrecito: Fun Mexican joint with great drinks. if you are two, we recommend trying to get a seat at the bar and eating there. The carnitas are delicious!
Parada 22: If you want a very chill, relaxed night, Parada 22 is fun, delicious Latin American food!
Rich Table: If you are feeling for a fancy meal, you won’t be disappointed! splurge for the tasting menu. All the food is delicious and worth it!
Zazie: This place is known for brunch but we WAY prefer it for dinner! (favs: soup, liver, pork chop!) (pro tip: on Tuesday nights it’s BYOB so bring some wine!!)
Zuni Cafe: Known for their Chicken for two made in a wood fire over. It’s so so yummy!
Pink Onion: Want pizza? look no further! very chill bar which serves delicious pizzas.
Marafuku ramen: We’ve tried a few ramen places in the city, and this one wins hands down!
