A little about Theo & Julie
Julie Dillemann & Theo Goodman. Founders of TGLL
We are the founders of Think Globally, Live Locally (TGLL) .
We’ve been together for a long time and have always loved travelling independently and together. In 2015, Theo suggested to Julie that they take a year off and travel the world, this was quickly shut down by Julie, saying she loved her life in NYC and her career. But low and behold, in October 2018, Julie came back to Theo and asked him, if his travel the world itch was still there? He answered very quickly YES!
Timing rarely works out for these types of things. We are so lucky that it did for us! Julie quit her job and started a consulting business so she could work with her own hours. Theo’s job let him work remotely and so we were ready to take off!
We are putting off buying a house, and rather spending the money on a year of true adventure. We are now newly weds and can’t think of a better way to solidify our marriage having this experience together.
Building & creating Think Globally, Live Locally (TGLL) is a way for us to document our trip, but hopefully turn it into a place where our friends, family (and hopefully strangers) can use to help plan their travels in the future. We are trying to turn TGLL into the guide we wished we had when we started this adventure.
